Synchronicity

Tempo, a piece I made in August of 2016, represented the concept of song in visual form. I have always thought of artistic practices as interrelated. Music, literature, and form parallel and complement one another.

Building off these concepts, I collaborated with a musician—my friend Kai Slemenda—in the creation of Synchronicity. This piece acts as a companion to a song written by Slemenda. The pairing of the works create an artistic experience that spans two distinct forms of expression. Together, the pieces are static, transient, physical, and sonic.
